Placing Orders on PrinDrop

There are three ways of placing orders with Prindrop. You can either create orders manually or upload via bulk CSV/excel file or get in touch with us to integrate your storefront to auto-push orders. But firstly, PrinDrop needs certain information in a certain format to be able to process orders. Mandatory fields to be provided while placing an order are
- Order ID - it should be unique. If it's not unique...ie..if it's matching with an earlier order ID on your account, then the order will not get created successfully.
- Design Code - An order can be created only if the design exists with us. You need to upload your design here BEFORE creating an order.
- Product - You need to provide the ID of the product that you want your design printed on. You can check the list of products and their respective product ids here.
- Shipment Mode - This should be either "default" or "self". If "self" is provided, PrinDrop will expect you to provide your own shipping label which will be pasted on the package which can then be picked by your courier/marketplace agent. If "default" is provided, then PrinDrop will auto-ship it via it's own partner courier agents. For the "default" ship mode, you'll need to provide the following details - Shipping Customer Name, Shipping Complete Address, Valid Pincode, Shipping Phone Number (10 digits).

Adding Designs on PrinDrop

You need to provide the design information to PrinDrop only once. Once created successfully, PrinDrop will process your orders for the particular design based on the parameters you define for how you want the design to be printed. The Mandatory parameters are:
- Design-Code - it should be unique. If it's not unique...ie..if it's matching with an earlier design-code on your account, then the design will not get created successfully. Best practice is to number your designs and create two variations and suffix with "-dark" or "-light" depending on whether it'll be printed on a light-color tshirt or a dark one. For instance, if your design number is 1234, then you can create a "1234-dark" design that'll be printed on Black/Navy Blue/Maroon etc. and a "1234-light" design that'll be printed on White/SkyBlue/Yellow etc.
- Design-Name - This is for your internal reference. You can name it however you want.
- Design Image - You need to upload the highest possible resolution image of the file. PrinDrop recommends that the file be atleast 72 dpi for adequate print result. Designs with poor resolution will be auto-flagged as "Low Quality" and you will receive a mail notification. PrinDrop will not be responsible for print-quality defect complaints from your customers. The format of the upload file can be .png or .jpeg or .pdf but it will be auto-converted to .png in our backend.
- Design Placement - The default placement type for the particular design. It can be either "Front" or "Back" or "Left Pocket" or "Right Pocket". In case of "Front", the design will be printed in a center-aligned placement starting 3 inches from the collar border.
- Design Dimensions - Should be provided in inches. Max width is 14 inches and Max height is 16 inches.
- Design Comments - Any comments can be written here. Eg - "remove black background while printing". We will get back to you to discuss the feasibility of incorporating the given comments on printing.

Creating Orders

There are multiple ways of sending us your order details:
- Bulk Excel File Upload - You can fill out your daily batch orders in an excel file template and upload it here. Please check the sample file for instructions and examples to create the excel file. If there's any error in any line item in the uploaded excel file, you'll get an error log which you can correct and reupload. - Single Order Creation - You can place a single order here by furnishing all the order details. The Itemslist field should be in the format {Product_ID/Design_Code/Item_QTY}. If there are multiple items in your order, you can add using "." as follows - {Product_ID1/Design_Code1/Item_QTY1,Product_ID2/Design_Code2/Item_QTY2} etc.
